Casey Wilson, a Toccoa native, is an accomplished associate attorney with a wealth of experience in various areas of law, specializing in family law, criminal defense, and civil litigation. Casey’s experience in the legal community runs the gamut, in that she began her career as a paralegal and then a law clerk, which experiences formed the foundation for her philosophy and work ethic as an attorney. Before joining SANDERS, RANCK & SKILLING, P.C, Casey served as a Staff Attorney with the Mountain Judicial Circuit, where she honed her skills in legal research and writing, while maintaining strict confidentiality under the guidance of Mountain Judicial Circuit Superior Court Judges Oliver and Smith.
Her previous experience also includes practicing locally, even establishing her own solo practice which she merged with another local firm before working as a Staff Attorney. During her tenure as a licensed attorney, she has represented clients in court – both in bench trials and jury trials – and has appellate experience in drafting appellate briefs, as well as advocating for clients seeking post-conviction relief in motions for new trials and civil habeas proceedings.
